In the December issue of Forbes Latvia, advocate Liene Neimane (mg. iur.) of the office of sworn advocated "Neimane & Partners" and co-author Signe Bole (mg. iur.), explain what a money mule is and how to avoid falling into the hands of fraudsters.
"Educated and knowledgeable people can also become victims of crime if they suddenly find themselves in a difficult financial situation. It should be borne in mind that opening an account or setting up a business at the request of a third party and transferring its subsequent management to a third party is also a criminal offense."
